LanaKit: keeping track of your Disney Lorcana cards
LanaKit is my app for Disney Lorcana collectors and players. It connects card identification, a collection tracker and a deck builder, with attention to the details of each copy: the printing, its finish and how many you own.
LanaKit first launched on the App Store on June 14, 2026. I refreshed the screenshots in October 2026 and added a changelog of the work I completed that month below.

Record the printing and finish
A card name is only the beginning of a collection entry. With LanaKit, you can scan a card and review its name, set and number, then choose the appropriate finish. Before saving, select the quantity and destination collection. That gives you a useful routine when sorting cards: identify the printing first, then record the copies in your hand.
Find the cards you own
The collection tracker supports separate places for owned cards and wishlists. You can browse your cards in a grid, check quantities and finishes, and review duplicates. I like this as a way to connect the individual cards with the larger picture of a collection: what is already there and what you are still looking for.
Price information adds another view of those cards. LanaKit shows available estimates for a printing and a collection value overview. Finish, currency, price date and missing prices all affect how to read that total. It is useful context when deciding which cards to look at more closely.
Take a deck to the table
The deck builder moves the focus from the binder to a playable list. Add cards from the catalog, adjust their quantities, and review inks and construction checks as you work. Deck sharing includes posters and exported lists, with the available formats depending on the platform.
LanaKit is available for iOS and Android. Get LanaKit and start with a handful of cards. Save their quantities and finishes, check the collection, and build a deck around the cards you want to play next.
What I built in October 2026
Code changes completed in October. Published entries are already live.
- Implemented
Automated scanner training and validation when new cards enter the catalog.
- Implemented
Made Android scanner-data downloads more resilient to slow connections, with validation and a fallback to the last working version.
